CH-Polymers Oy is committed to improving its operations on a continuous basis so that issues related to the environment, safety and health receive due attention. The company is also committed to developing its products and processes in a way that enhances the well-being of society.
Our continuous dedication has culminated in the certification of our Occupational Health and Safety Management System (ISO 45001) as of December 2024.
EcoVadis Gold Medal
We take sustainability seariously. CH-Polymers’ Sustainability work is ranked by EcoVadis belonging to the top 5% of companies in our operating area. EcoVadis has awarded us their Gold Medal on our demonstrated strong Sustainability Management system.
How did we perform in 2024?
Our operations on sustainability are based on our Environmental Policy, Corporate Social Responsibility Policy and Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) Policy. These three pillars guide how we operate responsibly, safeguard people and the environment, and contribute to long-term sustainable development.
We have set targets for our operations and follow the status of those regularily. Our Key Performance Indicatiors in this area are:

- Water usage
- LTA
- CoC training of personnell
- Absenteeism
- Gender equality

Responsible Care is a voluntary international environmental, health and safety initiative of the chemical industry. The goal of the program is to ensure activities comply with the guidelines of sustainable development in terms of the environment, health and safety.
We are committed to providing safe and healthy working conditions for our employees. We put safety first in all our actions. We encourage a behavior-based safety culture, reporting any incidents and unsafe conditions.
